Behind the Lens: Practical Workshops for Creative and Technical Roles

Presented by WIFT Victoria and Panavision Australia, Behind The Lens is a day of hands-on practical workshops in which screen practitioners will gain a greater understanding of how camera lenses and technology influence visual storytelling.

Led by Panavision Australia’s Nic Godoy and Grant Hansford, the workshops will include ‘live’ on-set demonstrations using Panavision cameras and an array of vintage and modern lenses. Delivered in two parts, the program is developed with the nuances, challenges, and specific requirements of creative and technical roles in mind.

All attendees of both sessions will receive a free online technical reference library.

WIFT Vic and Panavision Australia encourage all participants to attend the networking lunch. Who knows, you might meet your next collaborator there!

An opportunity for creative and technical screen practitioners to network and mingle.

2:00pm - 4:00pm         Technical Workshop

For mid-career to experienced screen practitioners working in technical roles (Cinematographers, AC’s, post-production, etc.)
