We’re rolling out the red carpet for this year’s Opening Night Gala.

And 2024’s celebration will be even glitzier than most: we’re truly going all out to celebrate the 40th edition of the festival. Don’t miss this night of nights at the majestic Astor Theatre. You’ll be treated to a superb selection of Australian short films that'll amaze, amuse, and astound, followed by a glorious after party where you can rub shoulders with the filmmakers and enjoy a boogie or two until the late hours.

Doors open 7 pm for a screening start of 7.30 pm.
