A fantastic coming of age skateboard film and a brilliant Oscar-winning slice of the 60s.
Told without dialogue and set against the classic sounds of Mike Curb and The Arrows (who scored a ton of Biker films from the time), it tells the story of a group of seven young members of the Imperial Skate Board Club who ride around town showcasing their skills and talent. One of the teenage gang falls for a neighbourhood girl and from there a rift starts to occur in the gang as all slowly grapple with their teenage feelings.
