The second documentary session this year features often-personal stories and diaries that possess a quiet power. There are some sure-fire international award winners here, alongside some familiar creators whose work we're looking at closely now and into the future. There are also a couple of surprises that challenge the limits of what a documentary can be and call for a bold re-thinking of the genre.
