For our Big Picture professional development day, we’re investigating the hidden moments, relationships and crafts that operate behind the camera but which provide the back beat for what you eventually see on screen.

This screening drawn from films in the program and subsequent Q&A delves into the films and techniques behind them that exhibit outstanding use of sound and composition in their construction. While we’re at it, we might as well take a tour of the building you’ll be in - the Backlot Studio - which itself pays host to a fantastic film and music recording studio.
