Learn how to shoot your film, edit on the fly, and submit to MINA smartphone film festival and the eco-smartphone filmmaking project #Nucleus. The talk will give you a brief overview of digital storytelling (with Adobe Spark Video), filming smartphone apps and editing with Adobe Rush. We will feature a short intro to Premiere Rush, for filming and editing on any device/desktop. Followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
Krish is a video editor and motion graphics designer and creative producer for MINA, the Mobile Innovation Network & Association. He is a filmmakers whose short film ‘Stairs’ screened at ACMI in 2017. Krish has a BA in Design Digital Media, with a Minor in Film and Television Production, from Swinburne University of Technology.
Max is Senior Lecturer in Film and Television at Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne, Australia), Adobe Education Leader, Co-Founder of the Mobile Innovation Network & Association and Screening Director of the International Mobile Innovation Screening & Festival.
Adrian is an award winning smartphone filmmakers, MINA and digital content creator from the Yarra Valley in Victoria. His mobile documentaries screened internationally. Adrian has a passion for storytelling and new technologies, so it was only natural that his camera of choice would be a smartphone. The intimacy and familiarity of an iPhone defuses any discomfort the subject may feel and its small form factor makes it easy to get into areas that traditional cameras could only dream of.
